Housing Assistance Plans
The Pottawattamie County Housing Trust Fund develops a Housing Assistance Plan (HAP) in accordance with Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) program guidelines provided by the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA). The PottCoHTF Board reviews the HAP annually and makes adjustments as needed. PottCoHTF distributes its funds in accordance with its HAP.
Income Limits
All activities funded by the PottCoHTF must benefit households at or below 80% of median family income. PottCoHTF grantees are to use the most current HUD Median Income Limits for “Omaha-Council Bluffs, NE-IA HUD Metro FMR Area” to verify each beneficiary for qualification.
