2027 PottCoHTF Grant Application (OPEN)
The Pottawattamie County Housing Trust Fund (PottCoHTF) seeks proposals annually for activities that are eligible for assistance under the State of Iowa’s Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) Program. The 2027 application cycle opened on September 10, 2025, and are due to the Program Administrator by 4:00 PM on October 9, 2026. The 2027 PottCoHTF application and project budget forms are available to download at the links below.
All activities funded must benefit households at or below 80% of median family income. Priority will be given to those proposals assisting households at or below 30% of the median family income. All grant funding from PottCoHTF is paid on a reimbursement basis, subject to review and approval of the required project and beneficiary documentation.
To be considered for funding, proposals must meet one of the following objectives as identified in our current Housing Assistance Plan:
- Homeownership Assistance, including direct assistance, rehabilitation, and new construction.
- Rental Housing Assistance; including direct assistance to income-qualified tenants, new construction, rehabilitation, emergency housing, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing.
- Education for Tenants, Homeowners, and Landlords, including general maintenance information.
